ADirty Birds

The Peanut Shoppe has been a Charleston tradition for over 60 years. Established in 1950 by Delbert Moore, it is still in its original location. We recommend the chocolate stars!

FCamden Park

Looking for old-fashioned fun? Camden Park, WV’s only amusement park, is a 26 acre park located near Huntington. Established in 1903, the park is home to more than thirty rides and attractions, including a full-size traditional wooden roller coaster and several other vintage rides.

Clay Center Family Fun Days

Each day is full of family entertainment with themed science and art activities taking place throughout the day in addition to our three floors of art and science exhibits.

Children’s Art Fair and Kanawha County Public Library Street Fair

A perfect combination for two days of family fun: Make & take craft opportunities from invited artisans and groups, a sale of work by children and youth in Kanawha County neighborhood programs; a stage with child-friendly performances

Movie Nights at Magic Island

Sponsored by local radio station, WQBE, Magic Island becomes a free, family friendly movie theater under the stars. The Island opens up at 6 with a Kids Zone & the movie will start around dusk! Movie Nights take place Wednesday nights in June.
