The Travelin Appalachians Revue is a celebration of Appalachian creative arts and artists, and can be thought of as a mobile, pop-up micro-festival. The Revue features anywhere from five to ten writers, musicians, visual and culinary artists, as well as a occasional curated “pop-up” DIY arts bazaars and galleries.
The Travelin Appalachians Revue is centered around the basic idea of connecting creative individuals and communities in our region, and to provide a welcoming and encouraging space for artists to hone their performances and celebrate their work. The shortest version is: we want people to talk to each other. We want people to talk to each other because talking, and sharing, and learning, binds us to one another in beautiful ways, and in West Virginia we desperately need to be reminded of our innate beauty.
