Beth Slack, the current emcee / host of The Mighty Schmucks needs our help guys. Not only is she our show runner, but she is also Schmucks founder Tony Slack’s daughter. We’re doing a huge benefit show for Beth and here’s what’s going on!
Beth was born with a chronic lung disease that has resulted in her now being put on a double lung transplant waiting list. After the transplant, Beth’s recovery will involve staying in Pittsburgh for 3 to 5 months. She will no longer have an income and we want to help her prepare for the long road to regaining her health!
Beth lives in Dunbar with her two beautiful children and fiance. This benefit, along with many others throughout the community will ensure that Beth can maintain childcare, living expenses, and any other unforeseen expenses due to her recovery. A transplant is a scary situation, and we’re doing our part to help her not worry about finances and focus on only getting healthy!
The Mighty Schmucks will be joining forces with fellow WV improv troupe The Fearless Fools, along with local magician Joey Stepp to put the mother of all entertainment benefit shows together! There will also be raffles and giveaways throughout the night. All proceeds will go to the strongest and bravest human being we will ever know.
