Patti Smith and Her Band featuring Jackson Smith and Jesse Paris Smith. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Member, author, photographer and activist Patti Smith will be in Charleston to accept the induction of her late husband, Lincoln County-born Fred “Sonic” Smith, into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame.
Mollie O’Brien & Rich Moore with Brigid and Lucy Moore, performing songs from their latest release “Daughters.”
Songwriter Van William who is taking a break from opening spots for First Aid Kit to make his first appearance on Mountain Stage. Robbie Fulks will join us for a duo set of roots music.
A very special Tribute to Little Jimmy Dickens featuring Tim O’Brien & Friends. Tim will lead an all-star group through songs from “Rhinestone Hillbilly: A Tribute to Little Jimmy Dickens,” released last year by the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame.
Plus Country Music Hall of Fame member and WV Music Hall of Fame member Charlie McCoy will be a featured performing throughout the evening. Charlie released his autobiography “50 Cents and a Boxtop” last year.
