LYRA vocal ensemble from St. Petersburg, Russia performs Orthodox Liturgical Music in the first half of the concert and Russian folk music in costume in the second half. Admission is free, with donations gratefully received to sustain the series. A reception follows.
LYRA has toured extensively in America and abroad with excellent reviews and enthusiastic audience response. This is the only West Virginia performance by this distinguished group of singers from leading churches and the opera of St. Petersburg.
