Building on its first urban street fair in 2016, Charleston Main Streets – West Side will partner with area hip hop and street artists to bring DJs, scratch DJs, break dancers, rappers, and the city’s first professional street art mural to Elk City.
Participatory art will also return with stencils created by the artists for temporary spray paint. Enjoy performances from West Side performing arts organizations, caricaturists, face painting, take-away craft stations, a sports zone, a participatory permanent public mural, and, of course, FREE ice cream. Special “hard” root beer float options are available to attendees over 21 years of age.
