The biggest Navy armor and weapons factory in America? In West Virginia? Find out why it’s been here for a century and so much more. Experience one hundred years of surprising history at the Naval Ordnance Plant in South Charleston, including the aftermath of its Navy days when it manufactured thousands of armored personnel carriers! Featuring hundreds of never-before-published photos from the National Archives and WV State Archives…plus an armored vehicle and Navy gun you can climb on!

Right across the street from the former Naval Ordnance Plant itself, in sight of the huge buildings! Ample street parking on site. On F Street just north of Oakes Field!

This calendar doesn’t allow different starting times, but we actually open at 11am on weekends!
