Local author and documentarian Eric Douglas will conduct one-hour oral histories.
West Virginia Archives and History, a section of the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, hosts two days of recorded interviews with audio-documentarian Eric Douglas. Appointments are solicited for 50-minute interviews. Douglas will take a still portrait of each interviewee and will give each a recording of the oral interview upon completion. Persons never interviewed for FestivALL Oral History Projects will be given preference. Selected interview excerpts will be added to Douglas’s ongoing audio-documentary, “Memories of the Valley.” Excerpts of “Memories of the Valley” interviews may be viewed online at http://www.booksbyeric.com/memories-valley
To schedule an interview, contact Susan Scouras, Archives Librarian at (304) 558-0230 ext. 742 or susan.c.scouras@wv.gov
