Organist Peter DuBois (former Director of Music/Organist at Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston) will performs this recital in honor of longtime Charleston resident Bob Long. Long was active at St. Matthew’s, and was instrumental in the church acquiring a new organ in the late 1970s. He was a co-founder of the Summer Orgelfest series of organ recitals, which got its start at St. Matthew’s. This concert is the fulfillment of Long’s wishes and will be offered free of charge.
