Join West Virginia State University as it honors distinguished NASA mathematician and alumna Katherine Coleman Goble Johnson with the erection of a bronze statue of her on campus!
The statue will be unveiled during a ceremony on August 25, 2018 at 11:00 am, in the plaza adjacent to the quad.
Katherine Johnson’s story came to national attention with the book and movie “Hidden Figures.”
