4pm-6:30pm Ice Cream and the Arts in Elk City
Building on its first urban street fair in 2016, Charleston Main Streets will host the 3rd Ice Cream Social in the rapidly developing Elk City district of the West Side– Enjoy performances from West Side performing arts organizations, caricaturists, face painting, take-away craft stations, a sports zone, and, of course, FREE ice cream. Special “hard” root beer float options are available to attendees over 21 years of age. Participatory art activities include additions to the Elk City Mural, plywood elk cutout paintings, mini masterpieces (small, framed canvas paintings led by artists), Rainworks art, and rock painting.
