Jay Stevens has been a professional comedian for over 15 years. Growing up, he was known as a hilarious outgoing character by friends, family, colleagues and those he would meet on a first encounter. Having a passion to make people laugh, he surprisingly was not seeking a career in the comedy industry. But with so many people telling him how funny he was, he decided to give it a shot.
Since then Jay has been very successful making people laugh from the church and comedy clubs on land to international waters on cruises. His clean comedy style targets every area of life leaving audiences laughing with every example of how funny life really is.

more. BiG”A”’s brand of off the wall humor has made him one of the fastest rising comedians in the Southeast. His brand of high energy and animated comedy has landed him spots opening for such headliners as Rob Schneider, Dave Coulier and most recently Kevin Pollak and Greg Giraldo. It’s his original and appetizing humor that always leaves audiences begging for seconds. BiG”A” is sure to make you laugh as he makes himself look like a boob, pokes fun at all that he sees and everyone he knows.
BiG”A”’s comedy career seems to have been a lifetime in the making, but officially started in 1999 when he joined the local Improv Comedy troupe in Raleigh, NC, Comedy Sportz. From there he began honing his ability to make people laugh without a script, or a clue, eventually becoming one of the premier performers at the newly named Comedy Worx.
In 2005 BiG”A” performed at his first Open Mic at the famous Goodnight’s Comedy Club in Raleigh, NC, and from there things took off. Audiences and fellow comedians alike always comment how “Naturally Funny” BiG”A” is, and are amazed that he can bring the laughs while keeping it clean. In 2008 BiG”A” won the title of Ultimate Comic at the Idiot Box in Greensboro, NC. He continues to perform at comedy clubs, colleges and corporate events across the country.
